 BTK Motorsports Announces New Product—SKF Racing Bearings
Decatur, Ala. – (April 16, 2008) – BTK Motorsports is pleased to announce the roll-out of its new product offering—the concentric locking bearing, manufactured by SKF.
The patented ConCentra Solution allows centering of the shaft and its rotation, in respect to the bearing center. The bearing has a removable snap shield that allows the customer to clean the bearing and re-lubricate after each use. Consequently, the life of the bearing is extended while maintaining high rotation efficiency and reliability. Additionally, the patented profile of the outer ring has been designed to avoid the risk of misalignment to the unit support. The bearing also contains ceramic balls that help maintain low friction while reducing the rotating mass and increasing stiffness.
